I was playing soccer today and got kneed in the VMO/ inside of my knee. It has become tight but I can still get to 95-100% ROM but I have to take it slow. Any diagnosis or suggestions on treatment would be greatly appreciated.
Ice, compress it with a tensor bandage, and keep gently moving it through full ROM.
Keep your knee in full flexion when you are icing. With deep thigh bruises there is an tendency for the quad to calcify and restrict movement.
