Just looking for some general ideas and opinions in regards to warming up for a tempo workout. Would 200m of skipping and jogging 400m plus some dynamic stretching and power speed drills suffice?
depends on how you are carrying it out. We have mentioned before about how we used WU1 and WU2 with WU! in flats enough for tempo and WU2 added for speed. Perhaps it was overkill but the idea was to have as much familiarity as possible as the same routine was used in meets.
I’d think a short job + static stretching, followed by a few drills/dynamic stretches generally is enough.
