tempo and 2 mile timed run

I found the following table at www.nogometnitrening.com. The table shows relationship between VO2max (relative values: ml/kg/min), distance covered in 12min run (Cooper test) and level achieved in 20m beep test.
Unfortunally, I couldn’t find the relationship between VO2max and YoYo in such format as this table.

According to this table, someone who runs 2miles (3.6km right?) in <12min is pretty damn aerobically fit, if we take into consideration that average VO2max in elite players is around 55-67 ml/kg/min.

I didn’t realize you had to be so “fit” to run 2 miles in 12 minutes. 2 miles is actually 3.2 km I believe.

2 miles = 3.218 km

Here is the calculator for 12min run.

and here are YoYo results for players

As you may all see, different authors makes different correlation tables. But, I suppose 3000m in 12min is around 55ml/kg/min O2. How much is this in YoYo I don’t know. Some of mine ex players run 3000m in YoYo IR1, which is pretty good distance, and the average including goalkeepers is 2300m. I know that during that period we did 4v4 small sided games and 2v2, along with doing tempo. I guess every coach should have his own assessment and evaluation tools.
To keep it simple, I believe that if the athletes can manage (finish sam way started without too much puf*puf and drain) the following tempo, they are in bloody good shape as aerobic power is concerned.

100+300+100+300
100+200+200+100
100+200+200+100
100+300+100+300

or something like that…
