spp transition to inseason

hey cf not sure if you will be able to help me with this problem, i will only have time to complete the first 9 weeks of the spp program, then jan 1 i start my indoor inseason program but the first two weeks i dont compete, im wondering would it be smart to start my inseason program jan 1 or could i continue with the spp program since the volume would be lower?

how important are the initial meets? When are the most important ones?

first meet is small but i want to be able to run fast every week.

List the meets with dates.

any help cf???

I’d keep your program as is for one more week but at a slightly reduced effort for the sprints. Then reduce 20% of the sprint vol, again for one week at reduced effort for the sprints. Then continue with regular, relaxed effort till 5 days before the first meet. At that point, you’ll have to adjust according to the results you show.

hey cf during the season what intensity range are most of runs at 90-95% or higher, and do even get into 80’s during the indoor season?

hey cf would it be too much for me to do this workout the week of my tryout:
