Speed Trainers and Jump Soles (Do they really work???...)

ok ive heard all about the strength shoes. But what about the speed trainers. Speed Trainers look real effective to me.

good question. Perhaps you can start a new thread on that so we can keep this one on topic.
In that thread make sure to show a picture or describe to everyone what speed trainers actually are incase some do not know.

They’re just a gadget that allows you to strap loads onto your thigh to load the hip flexors

just bumping this thread back up to the top as i want to find the review and threads on the jump soles.

from personal experiance when i played basketball at a semi o.k. age group level.

i could sort of dunk as a 5’11 white kid and read around on some uninformed basketball boards and looked at the adverts in basketball maginizes i decided these were for me. life desisions(shakes head hard).

well anyways they didn’t really do much, i followed the 8 week program. it was a bit much and not well planned out but honestly i don’t think it made worse. i could perhaps jump a little higher and was a little more reactive. but if i could trade those 8 weeks for 8 weeks of strength training i would.

edit: just thought i would throw my experiance with them out.
