This is one of those painfully good news bad news situations.
good news: most of the stuff they do makes a whole lot of sense, and they emphasize a lot of good ideas
Bad news: No mortal could survive, let alone improve on these workouts.
I need to amend that. Donovan Darius’s regimen would cause a normal person to overtrain in a week. At least he has the good sense not to try more than 5 days a week, but jeez! his is beastly.
Donald Driver’s seems to suffer from the opposite, but that of course is better.
I like Walter Jones’s a lot… pushing a three-ton escalade is no joke!
Tiki’s makes sense for Tiki, though, I’d probably shuffle somethings around a la defranco. and it doesn’t say where tiki sprints or conditions himself.
All in all, a good look at the NFL and a reminder that athletes at that level are freaks and you should not imitate them!
None of them really go into regeneration and only touch on diet and flexibility.
I don’t know about that… it just seems like they all found one thing that works for them and carried it out to the logically progressive, though out of cost-benefit, end.
