Is anyone going? It’s in Idaho next week, and I plan on running the 800 and the 4x800 for my club. Heh, my club is also ran by my track and field coach, which is kinda wierd.
I’m a little confused, why is it weird that your club is ran by your track and field coach?
Our “Tri County Running Club” is just a front for the NMCHS Cross Country and Track and Field teams…
So not a one of you is going to Simplot? Good, you sprinters are so beefy you take up too much track 
Depending on your state, it could be against the rules for the HS coach to be the club coach during the school year.
Here in Washington, that is the case.

Hey, Tom, you missed an event! Men’s 4x800… Tri County Running Club= 4th place.
Simplot was awesome. 3 national records and numerous meet records.
I will remember that meet forever. I ran 2 consecutive P.R.s in the open 800 and the 4x800 relay. 2:10 in the open (2 second pr) but I failed to qualify, and a 2:06 anchor leg in the 4x8. I almost got beat out of 4th place but the Denver guy had no speed (Praise charlie!) so I totaled him and a transit tech guy with 100 to go.
Sorry I didn’t see you, misguided, I didn’t check the your post until after I got back. We had to leave last wednsday to drive up to Idaho in time. Our medly team got altitude sickness. (note the 18th place finish)
