Setting Up Recovery Protocols

i have access to every recovery resource at my university…

after track practices, we arent forced to do anything but just told we can use anythign we want.

Monday
speed <40m

Tuesday
intensive tempo 6x300 continuous with 100m jog btw

Wednesday
rest

Thrusday
stadium stairs sprints/jumps up stairs

Friday
extensive tempo

Saturday
landing work, technique

Sunday
rest

i was thinking of taking ice baths after practice on mon, tues, fri, contrast baths on friday and saturday, hot bath or sauna on sunday?

I would try to get a massage at some point during the week. Weekly massage (by the right person of course) can do wonders.

I hear that Ebsom (spelling) salt baths are pretty useful too, but i haven’t used them myself.
