Setting up 29 week speed dev. plan for collegiate team sports?

The question i have, or should i say, am having trouble with, is how to set up a plan for speed development for a 29 week off-season for a collegiate team sport? The team is a D1 women’s soccer team, so the training ages will vary from 0 to maybe 5 years. Yes, they are also strength training along with the speed work. To be honest, it is not really 29 weeks anymore, as the team is just going to be finishing a 9 week GPP phase. They are transitioning into flat speed work and are doing well with it. They will now have 7 weeks left until exams and then summer break, which the will be training during. So, at it breaks down:

9 weeks GPP (just finishing)
7 weeks beginning SPP (until exam time)
14 training weeks until pre-season camp (summer)

The questions i am having are:

  1. Should some hill or sled work remain in the beginning of SPP due to the low training ages?
  2. Where should a maintainence phase be placed?
  3. How should the 14 weeks in summer break down?

no one want to take a shot at this one???

its difficult…

So how many weeks to you exactly have for speed work only?

I would do sth like a 3-1-3 cycle, like Charlie explains in CFTS. Go for it.
This are 7 weeks and pretty effective.

I personly do hills sometimes instead of speed work on the track. They are very useful and you can do sth else on high intensity days, if you are mentally not in charge to go for times or sth like that.
But remember: hills are also high intensity, so you should do sth low next day(s).

A complete plan needs very much time.
If i have got some time i can send you a plane of mine ,but its German…
