Saw at the gym today...

Until last week I lifted weights at home ,but now I do it in a public gym ,so I was quite unprepared for what met me today.
I was just doing my deadlifting when this turkish-looking guy walked in ,all dressed in jeans and t-shirt. Immediatly he proccedes to one of the mirrors starting to fix his hear ,which was already glued too his head anyway.
“What have we here?” I thought.
Then he proccedes to do some dynamic stretching and crunches and seeing that he was really supple I began wondering if he was one of those crazy turkish powerlifters racking up 200kg cleans in just their jeans and t-shirt - and there I was ,deadlifting a mere 95 kiloes!
“What a great opportunity to see how a real pro does it!” I thought ,sending quick glanses in his direction.
I was to be dissapointed however ,because his chosen exercise turned out to be the curl. Not just any curl however ,but rather the one where you put 1 kilo weights on either side ,do the exercise real quick while huffing and puffing ,and ,ofcourse when you lower the weight your whole upper-body follow ,turning the whole thing into some sort of a back exercise.
This he repeated for five rounds ,casting causual glances at his biceps between each of them.
Needless to say ,when I was leaving the room and sought a last glimpse of him he was back at the mirror fixing his hair.

So the question is Thor - where will you be lifting in future?

Sorry ,I forgot to mention that…
I’m lifting at what you could call a student-gym now. Down in the cellar of a “student-housings” or whatever they are called in english.
(I have edited the original text accordingly.)

i like to call this the “reverse-grip power clean”

Power Curl actually - Look at Dan John’s site for info
