I had a question for anyone who might want to take a stab at it.
In the early stages of specific prep would 3x4x60 with 2.5 min between reps and 7 min between sets be similar to 3x2x120 with 5 min between reps and 14 min between sets?
I know the difference between 60m runs and 120m runs in general, but wasn’t sure if the incomplete recovery may have changed something.
I realize I may have oversimplified the conversion to longer reps, but my thought process is the latter workout (on either the monday or the friday) would be less taxing on the neuromuscular system, and would benefit a hybrid type sprinter that does everything from the 60 to the 400.
So any thoughts on if and why I’m wrong here?
