Review of CF MicroReviews 1 & 2

The MicroReviews are another very good addition to the CF catalog. Each MicroReview is a short ebook that contains portions of several interesting discussions from the forum. There is a link before each topic that will allow interested readers to contribute directly to the appropriate thread on the forum.

Some of the topics discussed are:
*Sprint Mechanics (an long and excellent review)
*CNS (definitions, applications and development, clarification)
*Short-to-Long
*9.69 and performance limits
*HSI training methods
*Strength Training needs and their role in helping performance

The discussions are thorough and lively. It will be interesting to see if some of these topics get a new life as a result the MicroReviews and maybe take on a life of their own (e.g., Lactate Threshold Trn – which really should be it’s on ebook with an intro chapters by Kitkat and Charlie)

Two things that would make for an improvement in future editions

  1. a clearer demarcation of when Charlie is “speaking”. There are a few instances when this is not clear

  2. a table of contents at the beginning of each MicroReview. In this way, readers could easily jump to topics that are of interest.

Dear Ktolbert,

Thank you for the review, I’m glad you found our new ebooks interesting reading.
