WHAT a talent Brooks is; reminds me a bit of Grace Jackson, runner-up to FloJo in Seoul 200 and fourth (?) in the 100m.

Final Men’s 5000m

I don’t think Asafa ran anything like he did in the heats. I doubt he had anything more than a 9.9 in him.

That Stefensen 400m was an awesome, relaxed, calculated performance he really put on a show for the Aussie crowd. I suppose training in the US with Maurice Greene’s coach has helped him as well.

A NZer in the 200m final

Yea its amazing, didnt you watch the semi?

At first I was like…James Dolphin is quick but agaisnt a world class field!!! I expected him to finish 7th or so but he stepped up  !!!

I cant believe hes made the final, imagine if he got a medal! LOL!

GO KIWI!!!

Yes saw it, thought he was going to get run down with 40m to go but he came through really well.

Doubt he will medal but you never know

I think he can place top 5 if he breaks NZ record.

I think the final will only have 7 people as I suspect one of the jamaicans will drop out, looks injured. No one seems to be running near their PBS so I don’t know what might happen.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Patrick Johnson medals though hes lookin good!

Here’s hoping

Man thats a weak time lol.

What a night  first the mess of the 4 x 100m relays and just now the 1500m.

Nick Willis’ win  was the first for NZ on the track in 24 years

What about 4x400m women!?!?!

Jam. dropped it again  Then ENG wins it and gets DSQ with another team!

Then 4x400m men BAH dropped it too!!!

Who’s gonna teach them how to pass it right?

We are talking basics here !?!?

can anyone who watched the womens 4x400m relay please elaborate on what the protest was all about…

have not seen coverage of the race and wondering why australia protested against england…

also congrats to SC’s man for winning a medal in the relay…

A better explanation than i can give!

Its a pitty… something to remember to tell your relay team!

wonder where it came from the relay coaches or athletes…

either way its a JOKE…
