1st - Pretzels - Somebody told me, on here, that eating pretzels after you workout is bad. Why? I mean, you sweat and water comes out, pretzels have sodium in them right? So why not?
2nd - Gatorade - yea, i searched, and I know. But, is there any bad affects of drinking gatorade. I know its supposed to give back electrolytes and all but anything else?
3rd - Lactic Acid in Arms - Since Ive been doing a lot of tempo lately (Im really out of shape) Ive been getting lactic acid buildup in my arms. It happens right around my biceps, then goes into my upper forearm. I dont know if i have it to far up or what, or if im not relaxed enough? I dont really know…
I’m not sure that eating pretzels is bad, they are generally simple carb and salt…but there certainly are better choices.
As far as Gatorade, again it provides carbs to help refuel the muscles, but a better choice is probably plain old water unless you are involved in endurance events.
