how do you guys go about when you guys go practice your game? do u have a set routine u do every day? is it ok to just go out and perform drills with some sprints in between or something? do i hav to design a program for it or can i just go out and practice
“Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.” -somefamousguy-
so your saying its better to write down what drills ur gonna do opposed to going and just do what u feel u need to work on
If you don’t have a coach to keep track of stuff for you, then write your workouts down beforehand, but don’t have the mentality that you have to complete everything. You have to learn to listen to your body so that you know when you are stating to fatigue. When I can’t make a practice, I always tell my athletes to save one for next practice…meaning if you can do one more, then don’t. If you can do two more “faster than you have ever gone before” then do one more, and save the other one for next practice. And by save it for the next practice I am not saying complete that workout at the next practice and then move on, I am saying save that last little bit of energy for recovery and so that you don’t spend your whole wad.
