Asafa Powell roared to the fastest 100m ever seen in Great Britain at Crystal Palace with a 9.91sec victory ahead of Maurice Greene.
In a magical duel the Jamaican equalled his own national record set earlier in the month, with US champion Greene running 9.97sec.
Greene, reigning Olympic title holder, matched the former UK all-comers’ mark he set five years ago at the same venue after losing the race in the closing stages.
Leonard Scott, of the USA, finished third in 10.04sec after top Britons Jason Gardener, Darren Campbell and Mark Lewis-Francis failed to make the final.

15 mins of fame is a bit harsh don’t you think!? He is the reigning WCH03, Commonwealth Champ! He can mix it on the World Class stage…Sure he will find it hard to mix it with Mo and Asafa but rest assured he will be a threat… there’s no question of that.
