Plyometrics Foot Contacts????

 Well I hope that everyone’s season is starting of well. Well I have a training question about tracking foot contact for long jumper/triple jumper during plyometrics. The reason that I ask, I have been talking with a couple of people that do this. Is something that works well with individuals jumper or in a team setting. Thanks for your help.

If you don’t track foot contacts how do you measure intensity?

Would this measure volume? The amount of Contacts?

if you are bounding in whatever form over a set distance then you should know how many contacts to get an idea of intensity. then you can get an idea for the future as to volume in terms of how many contacts if you want to do it that way.

Do you mean number of foot contacts or foot contact time?
