plyometric and shoes?

I’ve been wondering why my joggers are not lasting this year. Back a year ago when training for distance events my shoes were lasting perhaps longer than now and the km run each week are vastly less. But I have been doing plyometric in my joggers. They are being destroyed!!

Is there a shoe of choice? Or type of shoe?
9 / 10 times I land on grass. If it’s wet then cement is the only option.

I was told by John Quinn, when he was TIS coach, that Cross Trainers are good for plyos.

Yeah that’s a solid idea - joggers are useless unless you have cash to outlay…

I’ll look into that - cheers
