PARIS, April 4 (AFP) - Ethiopia’s Ambesa Tolosa wonthe Paris marathon in 2hr 8min 56sec on Sunday for his first ever victory overthe distance.
Tolosa finished ahead of Kenyans Raymond Kipkoech, whoclocked 2:10.08, and Paul Biwott, who ran 2:10.30 in hisfirst marathon.
Kenya’s Salina Kosgei won the women’s event in 2:24.32ahead of Ethiopia’s Asha Gigi (2:26.05) and France’sCorinne Raux (2:29.19).
