PâKOMUZé 2009: a “heroic” programme!

Are you going skiing during your Easter holidays? If not, come and enjoy the activities at the Museum being organised by the Education and Cultural Services section for young visitors during the holidays. They have been devised to fit in with the new temporary exhibition Heroes, and are sure to delight the youngsters…

From 4 to 19 April: PâKOMUZé
For the Easter holidays and as part of PâKOMUZé, the joint event aimed at youngsters organised by Lausanne’s museums, The Olympic Museum is offering a whole series of activities to its young visitors.

Every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Become the hero of your visit non-guided visit
An interactive discovery of the exhibitions, which puts the participants in delicate situations and obliges them to make choices. Who wants to be a hero? From the age of 12 upwards, price included in entry ticket. No reservations.

Every day from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.: Manga workshop
The participants choose their sporting hero and draw them manga-style. Dessinator (Julien Cordebar, a manga illustrator) will assist so that the result looks like the hero of their dreams. For 12-16 year olds, free entrance. Registration only on 021 621 67 27, limited number of places.

Every day from 2 to 3.30 p.m.: Mission superhero workshop
The participants dress up as superheroes, following the advice of Actorman (David Bouzas, actor) to get into their role properly. And, in their costume, they fly off to meet Olympic heroes. For 6-11 year olds, free entrance. Registration only on 021 621 67 27, limited number of places.

Sunday 12 April from 2 p.m. onwards: Super Easter bunny
A giant chocolate “superhero” rabbit is sacrificed on the altar of indulgence! Free entrance.

Sundays 5, 12 & 19 April at 2.30 p.m.: Heroes improvised theatre
A funny and surprising semi-improvised show on the theme of sporting heroes. A creation of the LesArts company. All ages, Museum auditorium, price: CHF 5 (individual), CHF 7 (couple) and CHF 10 (families). Registration only on 021 621 67 27, limited number of places.

Sundays 5 April, 3 May, 7 June & 5 July at 11 a.m.: Shedding light on sports heroes guided visit
