But you really asking a loaded question, it seems you are asking “in light of all this recent free-tibet stuff (which has really been going on for quit awhile now, but only in the media because of a recent outbrake) would we carry the torch?”. Am i wrong in my assumption?

:rolleyes: if you want to be a pedant that covers the general idea but there is more to China’s poor human rights record than the Tibet issue, that said they aren’t alone with issues it is just the torch is topical right now.
