STOCKHOLM, Feb 4, 2007 (AFP) - Olympic triple jump champion Christian Olsson has resumed training after worries over a possible knee injury proved unfounded, the Swede’s trainer said on Sunday.
We've done tests on his (left) knee and it is still slightly swollen, but nothing is broken, it was nothing serious and he is training again now,'' Olsson's trainer Yannick Tregaro told AFP. The 27-year-old Swede pulled out of a competition in his native Gothenburg on Wednesday after hitting his knee at a tournament in Glasgow on January 27.
We expect him to compete at Karlsruhe in Germany on February 11,’’ Tregaro added.
