No 1 sprinters in your country

all i know is that louhali malik who did it to the semi finals but he came second to fredricks with 20.6 i think

and of course nour el din morseley!he had the world record for the 1500 and the 2000 and the 5000 one day…

Malik Louahla did the 100 with 10.39 on 2003 too

Belguim

Kim Gevaert ; 60m : 7.12
100m : 11.22
200m : 22.53
this is not for a small country like Belguim, and if you compair with other countries the facileties aren’t really good.

That´s why we´re fast

Australia:

Patrick Johnson: (PBs)
100m: 9.93 (also 9.88w 3.6)
200m: 20.50 (also 20.25w 2.6)

Matt Shirvington: (PBs)
100m: 10.03
200m: 20.45
60m: 6.52 (indoor)

It’s OK considering they both choke to death at major championships, and that there’s probably more money in lawn bowls than track in Australia.

Patrick was definitely a 100m sprinter,
a fast 100m time but not so good at 200m,
the interest about this is that,
i heard the he used to train with slow starts and then flying-out as we do the ascention, it´s true Jumper ?

The cold and dark of Finland:

Men
100m 10.21 Tommi Hartonen, 2001
200m 20.47 Tommi Hartonen, 2000
400m 45.49 Markku Kukkoaho, 1972

Women
100m 11.13 Helina Marjamaa, 1983
200m 22.39 Mona-Lisa Pursiainen, 1973
400m 50.14 Riitta Salin, 1974

By the way, NONE of these records have been set while running away from the hungry polar bears.

Not sure, flying, I know his coach and he never told me anything about this.

[QUOTE=ahgchile]Chile has had as far as I know only one famous world class sprinter: Sebastian Keitel at one time reported to be “the fastest white man around” which is probably crap, but his pb`s were: 10.10 and 20.15 the 10.10 is when he beat donovan in brasil, and it was reported that donovan replied to the press when asked “is he a worry now?”, “well, he beat me today, bu he’s never beaten me before, and he doesn’t hold the OR so, sometimes the sun shines on a dog’s ass” or something along those lines, it was really funny.
Definetely, Sebastian -a personal friend of mine, is one of the top South American sprinters of all time. Most certainly he was one of the fastest caucasians of his time, with legal performances of 10.10 and 20.15 and a wind assisted 19.93 (+2.4), all at sea level.
His top 10 100m legal performances average 10.17, this should be enough to ignore any comment Donovan might have had.
Whether Bailey considered him a threat or not is irrelevant, he is the best sprinter your country’s ever had.
