Of course Charlie,

The Pic of Kostas shows bad form, because it’s simply streching for the finish line, actually it’s the step before the last.

Besides the argument (no reason to quarrel) - it’s strange how far KK moves his hands in front of his face, watch Obikwelu(?) in the back, how he tries to move his arms close, in a “MJ style”, but he seems to lose ground with every stride - what do you think?:

Talking about Nick,
he did a 10.15s last weekend in Modesto right ? What was the wind speed ?

THE WIND READING WAS PLUS 2.2

I heard that Nicolas will only run 200m in Athens is this true?!

Will Nick qualify for anything for Athens?

Course not !!

Check it out:
http://www.timecanada.com/story.adp?storyid=10

Better you check your sources…

4 Sure !!

If Nick DOESN’T qualify, the team should stay home!
I’m sick and tired of the horseshit I’m hearing from people promoting anyone other than Nick for the relay.
This from guys who, after 3 tries, with and without Nick, are running over 10 meters slower than Japan right now. (Can’t play the weather card, as they all train in the US)
This relay clique feels entitled to run, no matter what kind of crap they dump on the track, that they don’t need a guy who’s run 10.03, and, frankly, they’ve been encouraged by those who should know better.
If you want Nick’s relay spot, EARN it from him in the 100!
If there’s a passing issue, fix it!
Don’t come around whining about the great relay leg someone ran in Texas, when no one was watching.
They bought that shit in 1999 and look what happened!
They ran without Nick last year and look what happened!

Right, and Nick simply is the fastest CAN 50-100m sprinter 2003 and 2004 - FACT:

IAAF:

2004:
10.15 2.2 Nicolas Macrozonaris CAN 22 08 1980 1r2 Modesto, CA 08 05 2004
10.19 2.4 Pierre Browne CAN 14 01 1980 1r1 Modesto, CA 08 05 2004
10.27 2.4 Anson Henry CAN 09 03 1979 3r1 Modesto, CA 08 05 2004

2003:
10.03 A 0.0 Nicolas Macrozonaris CAN 22 08 1980 1 Ciudad de México 03 05 2003
10.16 0.9 Pierre Browne CAN 14 01 1980 2 Knoxville, TN 18 05 2003
10.27 1.9 Anson Henry CAN 09 03 1979 2r1 Baton Rouge, LA 12 04 2003

and for 200m sprinters - no regular sub 21 time in 2004 yet, 2003:
20.80 0.4 Anson Henry CAN 09 03 1979 2r4 Celle Ligure 01 07 2003
20.85 1.6 Nicolas Macrozonaris CAN 22 08 1980 1 Victoria, BC 20 07 2003
20.87 -1.1 Tyler Christopher CAN 03 10 1983 1r3 Walnut, CA 19 04 2003
20.89 -1.7 Pierre Browne CAN 14 01 1980 2 Knoxville, TN 18 05 2003

That means they would choose a sprinter who did not run sub21.00 200m or sub10.30 100m yet (2004) instead of a 20.85/10.03 man - why???

THIS IS NOT TRUE!

FIRST HE MUST QUALIFY FOR THE 200M FOR CANADA WHICH I BELIEVE THE STANDARD IS 20.50-20.55 RUN.

HE IS STILL FOCUSING ON THE 100M, CANADIAN STANDARD IS 10.18 WHICH IS FASTER THEN THE OLYMPICS STANDARD.

Anyone explain to me why they are running nic first? I wonder if he will be ok with this in athens…

GLenroy think he has a better start and curve is what I heard. Which is kinda ironic considering peirre’s run 20.41? >I dunno both canadian relay teams for men seem to have alot of politics invovled over results. I think part of it was peiree always ran anchor in university so he’s comfortable there but come on rhoan sterling on the third leg? Lets be serious here! Nic anson peirre and charles allen are the best 4 for that relay atm. If they can’t run low 38’s then there all head cases.

Speaking of 4x400 I think canada just got its 4th Nathan vandenboncour(sp) ran 46.46 at the big ten. That gives em tyler shane gary and him now
interesting

Right on Nathan! He’s a Winnipeg boy. I hope the Canadian team qualifies for Athens.

They will !!

add another person to that 4x400 pool. Ray Ardill ran 46.29!!! on the weekend man if that guy stays in form and splits 45mid with gary shane and tyler watchout

Last week I saw an announcement (from the corner of my eye) on RDI (French version of Newsworld) for a “documentary” on NicMac that will air this Thursday 17 @ 19:00 (Eastern Time).

Don’t know if theres new stuff of if it’ll just be a Olympic preview rehash of a previous show(?)

And about that 4x4 … I think 28 years is long enough of a wait for some guys in spandex and sun glasses to break the Cdn record. That would (just aboot) make my Summer.

Indeed
well
with Shane
Tyler Gary (if he’ll run)
and looks like Ray Ardill’s on fire that coulb potentially be a outstanding team
