pretty impressive when you consider Rocket Ismail ran 6.07 and the WR is 6.00 by Lee McRae.

He caught the start of a lifetime.

Here’s the slow motion appended to the original.

//youtu.be/uBJCZwzkCd8

going from the smoke from the starters pistol and his reaction its clearly not a false start but he reacted incredible faster than the other athletes. he destroyed the field but looks starnge to see him ahead by 2m at the 10m mark!

Clearly not a false start

After watching that, it looks as if the guy to his right twitches ever so slightly, which might have set him off into motion at the absolute perfect moment. Reaction time had to be in the 0.100ish if it was even legal. Pretty awesome to watch that super slo mo.

I have little doubt that electronic blocks would have called that a false start. But what he did AFTER 5-10m is what destroyed the field, not the first 1-3 steps.

Even though he is a few steps ahead, he still seems to be in the ‘head down’ positon longer than the other sprinters, who probably transistioned 5-10m before he did.

Fukkkkk that!!! That must have been a .07 reaction time!!! dude got lucky as shit that there weren’t sensors on those blocks. Its going to really suck for him when he never runs that time again. What was his previous PR’s? Dude was fast as shit though even thorugh accel to top speed. Looked like Yohan Blake.

I love it. This young man ran to a plan. Very reminiscent action to Denis Mitchell. Does anyone know who coaches Marvin Bracey. He definitely looks like he’s out to reclaim some 100m glory for the USA. Good for him. Break or not (the pistol smoke is quite evident well before he reacts) he looks to be a huge talent.

Looks pretty clear that he reacted to the gun to me. Dude has been ridiculously fast for a long time. Ran a 10.19 +2.6 at Florida State champs at 16yo. Last year ran a barely wind-aided 10.05 +2.2 at USATF Junior champs to destroy the entire field at 17yo!! Not that difficult to believe that this time is legit considering his prior performances and improvement…

delete me!

looks like he committed to Florida State to play football too

Dammit wish it was Gators… he could have done a good job taking Jeff Demps spot. cool nonetheless should be another exciting player to watch. does anyone now if he played in the either all star game this year (army all american or underarmour). i have them both on my dvr and have not yet had the chance to watch them.

Hopefully, another player to turn into a professional sprinter later like Demps.

There’s another guy out at Arizona State named Ryan Milus. He originally committed to University of Arizona on a football scholarship, then he started getting really fast in the sprints. With UA being a distance-oriented program, he got them to give him his formal release so he could concentrate on a pro track future elsewhere. He ended up at Arizona State (RS soph I think) with presently one of fastest 60m times in the world (6.59).

We are getting conversions from football, and hopefully we can get more of them.

Under armour

He was a 10.0 sprinter as a junior. I suggest u google him

I see he’s entered in the Brooks PR Invite this weekend. Dempsey is a fast mondo track and he’ll have decent competition. Meet is going to be shown live on the internet:
