Need help for summer training

First of all I’d like to apologize if I put this in the wrong section, but I really couldn’t find another section to place this.

Okay so starting next week conditioning starts for track. (shot put, discus). Although there not my main events, I still go cause it’s fun and we lift every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I’m pretty sure that we’ll be doing full body work outs those days, but I’ll get back to you guys.

But here is what I need help on, my sprint work outs for Tuesday and Thursday.

I plan on doing something like this.

Monday - Conditioning
Tuesday - Sprinting
Wednesday - Conditioning
Thursday - Sprinting
Friday - Conditioning
Saturday - Long Jump

I pretty much run anything from the 55 - 400. I really havn’t decided if I’m better at short sprints or long sprints (anyone with some advice here?)

So a couple of questions.

  1. What kind of sprinting should I do? Should I just take it as a season and do work outs like I do during the season. Making tuesdays tougher days (9 x 200’s, 3 x 300’s, 2 x 400s, etc.) and make Thursdays days where I do less and focus much more on form and excuting.

  2. I gotta throw in some endurance runs like (30 minutes, 3 miles) etc. like we did in practice. When should I do those?

  3. For long jumping, I need some advice on drills tip, and etc. any websites would be appreciated.

  4. On conditioning days, should I still do a warm up mile?
