Does anyone know anything about the size of nasal cavities ( nose holes ) and air flow during a sprint ?
No, but I would like to know if some here believe, as some others do, that you should inhale via nose and exhale via mouth, any truth to this?
Me personally, I have heard it, but see no health scientific benefit from it, unless placebo/mental.
I heard this could be good in warm-ups because helps to rise temperature of respiratory system.
What about that nose “patch” that some athletes was using past years ?
I’ve heard that nose breathing is superior to mouth breathing. I also read an article a while back that suggested breathing through the nose while doing low intensity excersise. I tried it, and sure enough I actually seem to recover quicker when I try to breathe through my nose. This is obviously only applicable to very low intensity work however. When doing sprints/hard intervals, breathing naturally is probably the best option.
IMO hogwash. again, unless placebo.
anyone see the heavyweights with the nasal sprays? Crazy stuff!
nasal “sprays”? what for, they congested or something?
