Respect to Nanny. Go Jets.

Respect to Nanny. Go Jets.
Thats great!
A real credit to Nanny and his Jet team.
Nanny is doing well considering he strikes a balance between the success and progress of both his track athletes and his sporting team:)
Congratulations! Success is necessary for everyone … especially after the disappointment of Josh. But I STILL believe he will come back to the track, with a strong mind (girlfriend sorted out!) AND fast legs (Nanny’s programme!).
I sometimes assist with the speed and fitness of our 1st rugby team at school … as a woman coach! Something else than track and field, and I really enjoy this.
Good luck with the soccer team and your athletes!
Go the Jets.
You can beat those upstarts Central Coast team.
The Jets beat Queensland Roar in extra time 3-2. The media is suggesting there were some bad ref decisions and the elbow of Craig Moore’s into a Jets player head was one. I’ve seen worse get off but lesser one get red carded so no argument from me.
At the end of a game a Jet’s support crew (I suspect) was hugging a player, I wondered if that was Nanny?
Congrats to Nanny. His Jets won the Oz national league Grand Final 1-0. I think Nanny may actually have scored the winning goal but that could just be conjecture
Anyway, after a miserable time trying to help a certain very gifted sprinter, he will get some love from fans of the roundball code.
Well done Nanny - bout time you had a win:D
You beat me to it KK.

The Newcastle Jets have etched their name in the A-League history books with a 1-0 victory over local rivals Central Coast Mariners in the grand final at the Sydney Football Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
A magnificent solo effort by Newcastle striker Mark Bridge 25 minutes from time handed the Jets a much deserved lead which they hung onto in the dying stages of the match.
Some tenacious work by Bridge caught veteran striker Tony Vidmar in possession just inside his own half before embarking on a rampaging run towards goal.
The Sydney-bound striker stood up Mariners captain Alex Wilkinson before slotting a pin-point strike into the right corner from just outside the box, leaving Mariners goalkeeper Danny Vukovic with no chance of stopping the Jets from taking the decisive advantage.
Full match report to follow soon.
Party time in Newcastle
Nice work by the Central Coast coach after match interview… Sour grapes anyone.
Watched the game on Fox Sports last night and no doubt the best team won. Newcastle Jets thrashed Central Coast in the first half and should have been ahead only for some ordinary finishing.
Second half - Central Coast played much better, especially once they were one nil down. But the Jets always looked to be the most likely to score.
Aloisi fell over in the box and squealed that his shirt was held, but replays suggested he took a dive.
No doubt the handball in the box in the dying stages was one the ref missed. But that would have been an injustice as Newcastle was the better team on the night.
Well done Nanny and the Jets. (Elton John should change the name from “Benny” & re-release that song a a tribute)
well done Nanny - awsome job. awsome
