Monday: First day of football practice in the morning. Just got to know the basics. Got our playbooks, medicals, papers, and mouthpiece. We hit only on Fridays.
Did the usual drills and stretches. Did some sprints from lying position, what I’ve been doing every here and there.
Came home. Knocked out for 4 hours and then…
Evening: 6x60m with 2-3 minute rests and then 250 abs,
Tuesday: Football practice in the AM.
Track work in the evening. I did 6x300. I felt good. No problems.
The financial problems are going to come into play now because football requires a lot of money for the equipments, gloves, cleats, etc. The parents aren’t going to support me with the sports related stuff so I gotta find a way to pay for the equipment from the school and the rest I get on my own (gloves, cleats, cups, etc.). Equipments cost $120 including shoulder pads, knee pads, jerseys, trips. Coach allows us to pay off the 120 throughout the year so that really isn’t my problem. However, buying the cleats, gloves, cup, under armour, will be the problem. I will manage. I’m not going to go through my senior year with no high school football.
I also realized that football won’t allow me to do my SPP either as practices will be from 3:45 to 6:15 once school begins. The remainder of the time will be spent at home doing homework and studying. As much as my ego is in football, my pocket isn’t. So I have to make my decision on what I love doing more, track or football. SPP or football?
Wednesday: Missed football practice…Overslept haha.
Evening: 3x300-200-100 followed by 150 abs
Thursday: No more football for me. Financial reasons. So I will be track from now on.

Chupa, I’ll be doing 300s and 600s and go down from there. Pretty much similar to yours.
Friday: 4x300s and a few 200 and 100 races…
Saturday: Friend’s house after he had surgery on his nose.
Sunday: Was going to make up the extensive tempo I missed Saturday but my friends put me into a football game. Did a lot of stretching though.
and today’s speed work will be done in a few.
Monday: Back to track work.
6x60m with 20 pushups and 25 crunches in between reps.
Tuesday: Heading out to the track right now. Im feeling super sore from yesterday. I guess throwing in the pushups and crunches in between each rep does work. Gonna do more stretching before I begin.

I did extensive tempo 3x400 with 2 min breaks.
I was going to do 8 but I had to use the bathroom badly and after that I didnt finish the session.
Wednesday: Intensive tempo 4x250 with 10 pushups and 25 crunches in between each.
Should have done 2 more reps because the 250s felt easy. Easier than the 6x400s I had planned to do.
Taking the day off today. Doing my speedwork 60s and 40s tomorrow.
As for now, let me go redeem myself in Monopoly. I got my ass kicked by my friends last night.
My goal: TO BUY PARK PLACE.
Friday: Speedwork - 6x60m with 15 pushups and 30 crunches in between followed by a game of tackle football on the field.
When are you finishing your GPP phase?
Next week. Im going to start doing 4x400 for IT next week and then move on to SPP because school starts. I will have access to weights.

Sunday: Intensive session in the afternoon, again.
3x300s with 15 pushups and 30 crunches in between…wasn’t unable to complete my workout again 2nd time this week.
My 4th 300 ended up being a 200.
Intensive sessions in the morning/afternoon aren’t for me. I’ll stick with evenings.
I did not take my multi either. I had my egg/bacon on whole wheat bread with Diet Coke breakfast and left for the track.
I timed my first 300, where I did 48 seconds with ease. My other 2 were done on grass and I just ran out of gas after that. It felt too intensive, heart rate too quick lol.
First day of school…just ate…Gonna take a 30 minute nap and off to the track…Speed work today.

Tuesday: 6x60 with 15 pushups and 30 crunches in between.
Wednesday: Extensive day. First day of team practice. Decided to run with them since it was first day. We did 3 laps around the school =/= 2000m. I went 75-80% and did it in 10 minutes.
Thursday: Back to the track for intensive tempo.

I am not ready to do 400s as the 350 shows. Today was to be a 4x400 session but after my first attempt, I realized Im not a 400 guy.
