Baylor looks good tonight. Amazing how schools that don’t get top talent and strength and conditioning programs are average (according to the experts) have impressive athletes. The teams with the impressive strength and conditioning programs usually sucks and get blown out.

“Area scouts and sources” tell SI’s Tony Pauline that “a lot of teams” have Baylor’s Kendall Wright rated as the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2012 NFL draft.
Pauline reports that “several teams,” including one NFC playoff club, have Wright rated higher than Oklahoma State’s Justin Blackmon. Blackmon is a favorite of media draftniks, but he is likely to run in the 4.5s at 6-foot-1 and has a checkered off-field history. Wright is three inches smaller, but will likely time in the low-4.3s and has drawn comparisons to Carolina’s Steve Smith for his combo of vertical skills and physicality in traffic. With the Senior Bowl just over a week away, Wright may be a sleeper to be drafted in the top ten.

Ok what about Alshon Jeffrey. Granted his getting kicked out the the bowl game probably didnt help his cause

According to Pro Football Weekly, Baylor WR Kendall Wright is “parked in the third round” on a number of teams’ draft boards after an unimpressive offseason.
There were rumors of an offseason weight gain for Wright, and his forty time at the Combine was slower than anticipated. “Randall Cobb was a lot better,” one NFL evaluator said. “Wright is nowhere near as good with the ball in his hands and (Cobb) lasted 'til the back of the second (round). People are getting snookered (by Wright).” Wright managed only four bench-press reps, and Pro Football Weekly reports his body fat was 16 percent. Per PFW, it’s "one of the highest percentages for a receiver in the past decade.
