:mad::mad::mad::mad::shoot:

He doesn’t exactly ‘slam’ him! Infact he’s fairly complimentary…

“You have to look at it realistically, Greene’s career has been unbelievable, no guy stays on top that long in the 100m but it’s over… He’s not going to dominate anymore - guys now realise he can be beat. Not that he still won’t have some good races but it’s over him dominating. I can’t see it happening.”

I guess MJ figures he is in the position where he can say pretty much what he likes.

An remeber that position is …

  1. Unmatched Success over 200 and 400
  2. and retired!

So long as Mo doesn’t let it get to him I don’t think he or JS will have any trouble motivation-wise.

[I also think I know what qoute was just sellotaped to the wall of Mo’s training room …]

David,why is MJ soo concerned about MG.hes retired,he should get on with his own thing rather than mouthing out on the sports future saviours.do you see christie,lewis,bailey at this stuff!??

He’s getting paid to comment!

I’d say it’s not all just about money

Presumably, an expert correspondant is paid to give accurate and expert information, not to use the position to carry out a vendetta.
Why is Mo “washed up”? Was Michael Johnson “washed up” after he crapped out in Barcelona? Obviously, all of Michael’s best performances were still ahead of him, so he knows that what he’s writing is neither accurate nor fair.
The signals on Maurice are mixed, but he did open up with a 20.16 200m, so let’s not bury him just yet.

I wonder is it a case of old wounds after MG threatened to take MJ’s 200m crown?? There was alot of talk going on back then…

gf you have a point there,MJ could be still sore.charlie i couldn’t agree with you more
