Aust male 400m results do not look good. Maybe John, Matt etc have a point that athletics Aust should pick the trials winner only (due to it being so long before the majors) and the remaining 2 spots for athletes performing and reaching the ‘A’ standard within a 6wk to 3wk window from the games.
Other countries in the Northern hemi are different as their trials are within a small window of time from the games (like Aths Aust 98 and '00 trials).
