Michael Johnson to Chat Live on www.iaaf.org

Monte Carlo – Olympic and World champion Michael Johnson will be the next guest star to Chat Live with athletics fans around the world on the IAAF website.
Starting at 4pm CET on Monday 28 April, the 200m and 400m World record holder will be available to answer your questions for a duration of 30 minutes.
An IAAF Ambassador since 2007, Johnson has won a record 9 World Championships titles from the 200m gold medal at the 1991 Tokyo Championships to his astonishing World record breaking 400m victory at the 1999 World Championships in Seville.
Johnson has also won five Olympic gold medals from 1992 to 2000 including his 19.32 World record 200m on home soil in Atlanta 1996.
Johnson’s Live Chat will be the third of a series which will continue throughout the summer season with other great stars of our sport.
The first two IAAF Online Chats were held with Yelena Isinbayeva and Concha Montaner on the eve of the Valencia World Indoor Championships.
A countdown banner to Michael Johnson’s Live Chat is already featured on the home page of www.iaaf.org through which fans from around the globe will be able to post their questions on 28 April.

Monte Carlo – Le Champion olympique et champion du monde, Michael Johnson, sera le prochain invité de notre site internet pour répondre en direct aux fans d’athlétisme du monde entier.
Lundi 28 avril, à partir de 16 heures (CET), le détenteur du record du monde du 200m et 400m, sera disponible pendant 30 minutes pour répondre à toutes vos questions. Ambassadeur de l’IAAF depuis 2007, Johnson affiche un palmarès de 9 titres en championnats du monde, depuis la médaille d’or du 200m en 1991 à Tokyo jusqu’au record du monde époustouflant sur 400m qui lui avait donné la victoire aux Mondiaux de Séville en 1999.
Johnson détient également cinq médailles d’or olympique sur la période 1992 - 2000 dont son record du monde sur 200m, 19’’32, à domicile, à Atlanta en 1996.
Le « chat » avec Michael Johnson est le troisième d’une série qui se prolongera tout au long de la saison d’été avec d’autres champions.
Juste avant les Championnats du monde en salle à Valence, Yelena Isinbayeva et Concha Montaner avaient été les premières à inaugurer les « chats » en direct sur le site internet de l’IAAF.
