Nigerian sprinter, Obinna Metu is expecting a fulfilling 2011 season after joining the camp of reigning Olympic and World champion, Usain Bolt in Jamaica.
Metu who is enjoying the sponsorship of G4S, a security firm to train in the Carribean country, disclosed that working with the world record holder and his coach Glen Mills has opened a new chapter in his athletics career.
"It has been absolutely great meeting with coach Mills. He told me that I have all it takes to become a champion like Usain Bolt.
"I was so excited training with Bolt. Though training was painful being my first time under Mills, it got more interesting since I was doing with Bolt. I believe that with God’s help and the support of G4S, Mills will make something out of me,"said Metu.
He added that his going to Jamaica was the most happiest moment of his life: I was taken to a beautifully furnished apartment and I’m comfortably settled."
