Meaning of abbreviation in Vancouver charts

A question from an ignorant…

In the Vancouver chart “Phase I Speed Progression - Short to long” I can´t decipher this abbreviation:

“20 E” and “20 F”.

What´s the meaning of “E” and “F”?

/Jakob

I can’t say for certain, but I’m guessing the E is for Easy and the F for Fast, based on other references I’ve seen.

You are right.

So that would make “20E-20F-20E” an example of in & out sprinting - sprinting with variable speed?

Ins and Outs, Fast Easy Fast. Its all the same thing.

This stuff is in great explained in GPP DVD!

I found different terms for this kind of workout… somethimes Fast-Easy-Fast, In & Outs etc… Is this the same?
