Be careful of interpreting technique from still photos as you don’t knoe where in the race they’re taken. In the photo, he could be approaching the finish.

True, good point! He could be dipping for the line, but I’ve noticed his shoulders are rolled forwards in all his professional races as well. So I not sure if it is bad coaching or just an idiosyncracy of his. I know Trevor Graham coaches this but does Vince Anderson coach this as well?
