Master Sprint Times

What’s the difference with the meet this weekend (nccwma) and the one next summer?

I think it was pre/finals for the 100 and finals only for some of the 200m races because of injuries and guys pulling out. I think they were asking a lot from masters to sprint 3 straight days. Probably should have done pre/finals 100m on thursday - rest fri/sat and finals only 200 on sun…

What’s your plan on handling all the rounds next summer? Someone said 3 rounds?

I don’t know. Chris said next year, but maybe he meant next week??

Dude - you posted the link… lol

Ha. Multi tasking. lol

Some good times being run in Canada as well.

45+ Mack in 11.29q

My plan is to be in shape and ready to rock and roll. if it is 3 rounds then I may just pull out the 200 and stick to the 100. But we will see.

I know mack was fighting a ham pulls

Hows your injury?

coming along, got some art massage, ems, ultra sound and scraped then taped today. Ive been able to sprint the past two weeks. I havent been wide open yet, and I cant push out the blocks. Full extension bothers it.

ONe thing that has happened, because of this injury, I have been running with much lower knee lift. It has forced me to do what I call scooting. I feel like gatlin or padgett. Running like that kills my hamstrings. the next day it feels as if I did Gmorning, ham curls and stiff leg super sets. ALso, running like that has been yielding quick times at practice.

Yesterday I ran 3x30 all 3.8 to 3.9, 3x50 all 5.8 2x60 both 7.10. Fastest practice 60 this season was 7.2 or 7.3. It also feels like im taking more steps.

How do you time your 30’s?

THESE are hand right now, until decide to play with jawku again

Makes sense now - either ht or that freelap flying start. All of my 30’s are from a 3pt stance using the old speed trap 2 touch pad.

What about mens 50=54… 11.26 and 11.36 is pretty sharp

I usually will move my cone back a couple meters to try and compensate

I saw that, them cats rolling. I saw a pic of reggie, he actually looks like a young inshape athlete who took care of him self.

What did you expect from a 100m sprinter? Are they usually fat like me?
