Jones eyes golden haul

Jones won three golds at the last Olympics
Marion Jones has not ruled out going for five Olympic golds this summer despite not having competed since September 2002.
The American, who returns to action in a 60m indoor race in New York on Friday, said she would make a decision after the US Olympic trials in July.

“There’s a possibility of going after five, or four (golds),” she said.

Jones, whose partner is sprinter Tim Montgomery, missed all of last season after giving birth to a son.

The 28-year-old intends to compete in the 100m and 200m and long jump at the trials in California.

She could also compete in the two relay events, giving her a chance to eclipse her three golds and two bronze medals in Sydney in 2000.

“Hopefully, I’ll do the same (events) in Athens,” she said, adding: “I can’t really speak about Athens yet. I have to make the team first.”

Can’t wait to see the Millrose Games to see how Marion runs, although I’d rather see her there with Charlie…
