Issues with my lower leg are a regular occurrence :o Generally it is my left leg and while historically it has been my calf lately it has been my Flexor Digitorum Longus and upper Achilles. While I have made progress (it no longer hurts to even walk) ever time I run it hurts, the only thing that varies is the amount of pain.
Hills relieve the pain quite a bit but flat speed work really hurts it and the last time I did a lactate session (6 x 200) about 3 weeks ago I hobbled around for a day and a half.
Although I stretch regularly I admit I haven’t been as active on fixing this as I should have be en. I thought of doing regular 30 sec stretch with heels below the level of a step, massage etc. Anything else?
