I don’t drink milk because I throw up after I drink it, and I can’t drink water with whey protein [chocolate flavoured] because it tastes nasty, so I drink it with Orange Juice…[for those of you who love Jaffa Cakes, you would understand]…I feel that Orange Juice with Protein is a good source of Vitamin C & Protein! especially after a workout; that’s my belief. But would adding sugar be a good idea???
Come on man…a subject like this requires common sense! Why would you need to add sugar to a protein shake that you’re mixing with Orange juice?! I know you’re smarter than that Sho.
If I was you I’d consider changing your protein to one that you can digest with water. From the sounds of it I’d make a guess and say you was using some kind of Maximuscle protein? They are the worst tasting proteins on the market.
Try EAS Myoplex sachets - Its expense but great on the palate and gives you 42g of quality protein per serving. Infact EAS and MetRx have decent priced ‘basic’ whey proteins also…they mix well enough with water.
Other alternatives are eating tuna/salmon. Cheap and effecient.
