HSI DISAPPOINTED AT MISSING NORWICH UNION BRITISH GRAND PRIX MEETING
Since its inception, the majority of the HSInternational group has participated in London’s Norwich Union British Super Grand Prix every year. The athletes always enjoy London’s fabulous atmosphere and remarkable fans and look forward to participating in this meeting immensely. This year, however, is a different story.
Unfortunately, the Norwich Union meet director and HSI were not able to come to mutual beneficial terms this year. The meet director only requested two of HSI’s athletes compete in London. Moreover, the terms offered were not agreeable to the athletes.
“HSI is saddened by the fact we will not be participating in one of our favorite meets,” said Emanuel Hudson. “The fans and city of London are spectacular and will be missed. Hopefully we will be able to come to terms which are favorable for both parties for next year’s meeting.”
