How recognize the talent

Hello everyone,I hope you could help me one more time :smiley:

I´m reading the Lactate T. Thread and I have to say that I´ll never could imagine such complicated condition in the speed training :o I´m really amazed with all that theories and concepts.
I´m learning a lot by the reading of that great thread but the fact of the language is burning my brain :frowning: and I got lot of questions :confused:

One of the questions that I made is how recognize the own talents.How could I know if I´m more gifted to do 800´s better than 100´s?
It´s just a matter of PB´s?

By other side what are the amount of total training time per week for peopple who wanna train for serious (but not for a gold medal :o to be honest I´m too old and concious to dream impossible :slight_smile: )

I know I´d never gonna hit a world record LOL and maybe I´m not talented at all to run high velocity but I´m lot of interested in design a proper routine to practice in a serious manner for an absolute amateur.Why is such a difficult to find a adecuate information and planning for persons like that kind? (if you search for bodybuilding begginers routines you find thousands (even with theorycal explanation) but when you search for sprint begginers ones you have to read tons of complicated advanced concepts and read a lot of times the famous “it´s depends of the individual characteristics…” or somethings like that why?

Well I´m thinking in post my routine to see if I could get some help,it´s lot of frustrating to have enormous interests in learning but not to have easy opportunities,I say that cause in my country (Spain) to train speed seems an alien costume :o and the only way to learn for me is that forum,where I have learned all what I know from speed training (but obviously it´s not the same like to be trained by a great trainer)
