thanks man. i have an appointment friday lunchtime. i did some quickish tempo runs tonight. 8x150. i had a support on, and it felt ok, and i actually felt pretty good, but i want to stop the problem before it becomes a problem if you get me.
That’s good!
The fact that you feel ok shouldn’t surprise you. Just keep in mind that with some light training now you should feel better and better, i.e., be careful of your legs when you start normal training again…
Hope this is clear, LOL!
:o
yeh i sort of see what you mean i think LOL. I know what I need to do though I think to get back on track. I’m still hoping I can compete a week today in a relay!
I went to the physio, and she said it was tightness throughout the lower back, glutes, and hips. She loosened it out and it helped. I have a bit of tightness in the right hamstring now, which for some reason is a bit comforting!!! I guess it’s cos it means it’s just common tightness moreso than injury. Of course I could just be putting a positive spin on it.
I suppose it’s just from the treatment itself; let it settle down a couple of days and see how it feels…
Yeh I will. I’m gonna do some cleans, core work and a few tempo runs today, have tomorrow off. I’ll make sure I do some stretching today and tomorrow though to try and loosen them out.
