My 16 year old male ran 10.39ht for the 100m yesterday. That was his last practice for the season besides a few recovery sessions. He gets minimum of 2 weeks off now.
What is the recommended time off training usually? I have heard up to 6 weeks, but he will not last that long. He will go crazy.
I have a 16 year old who i train that ran 10.6 and 21.6 both fat and he is taking about a month off before starting a new gpp, i think that is the longest I would have a sprinter of that level doing nothing. Some play football so you can’t really control that but this guy doesn’t.
