help with programme outline

Thanks a bunch Charlie, you have help me out alot.
Just one finally question, when going into that finally month before that major championship meet. I was wanting to transition into more speed/ speed endurance type of work. Without causing injuries to the athlete.
So, my question is, is this a realistic approach a month before big meet, or should I just stay the course, and just leave more time for recovery.

If it is a realistic approach, what is a good place to start with speed work outside of the accel. work already in place.
