I am currently doing my football strength coaches weight routine with m,t,th,fri upper/ lower split, but i am trying to figure out how to periodize my running.
- my goals are to increase speed and change of direction, so I have been taking almost max recovery between reps, but when do i put in conditioning and what to do?
Do you do something like this?
Monday: linear plyo, speed, and conditioning last
Tuesday:Lateral plyo, Lateral speed, and lateral conditioning last.
Repeated for rest of week with wed,sat, and sun off.
