Gpp2?

I work with a college swimmer who after the first half of the season (Fall 07), has swam much better this year than last season (06-07), with the only change being a 4 wk dryland GPP in July.

The second half of his season is coming up (08). Last year (07) the taper was not effective, although the taper for the first half of that season (07) was.

We have 2-3 weeks of “down” time, and was thinking of repeating similar GPP work. This season is similar to the double periodization.

Any thoughts?
