After a few disastrous races, we have discovered through blood tests that my athlete has glandular fever. Do you know what cause this medical condition? Anything that we did wrong?
Any hints on supplements that would help to cure this always-tired-syndrome? Any other medical advice?
What do the experts in this field think? Enough time left to get him ready for the European season and the Olympics?
With the time left, I know I will have to focus on very specific training. Advice?
Thought I’d try to revive this thread; there must be more info out there!
Personally I’m just getting back into training after a lengthy layoff following GF. Has anyone been in the same position themselves or with their athletes?
I’m just wondering how you went about getting back into training. I guess the general mantra is softly, softly; but which training elements do you think could be introduced before others? e.g. lots of easy tempo first, speed before speed endurance or vice versa etc. How did gym work fit in?
Just realised this thread is in Nutrition Discussions, and my post is not relevant to that. Sorry (new to posting here). Maybe it could be moved to a more relevant section?
