Getting ready for '06

Wednesday 24/08/05

High intensity day

Hills+upper weights

Hills
2x6x40m

I was supposed to do one more set, but I really felt fast during the last rep, everything just was in place. So I decided to call it a day for the sprints

Weights
Benchpress 2x12
Lateral raise 2x8
Rows 2x12
seated row 2x12

I haven’t eated enough today, and I really felt it. Gonna get up at 7am tomorrow.

Never had this much distraction happen to me during one day of training. First I had some druggie come to me asking for me to borrow my phone. We’ll I happened to noticed that he had needle marks on his arms and didn’t wanna piss the guy off in case he’d bite me or something. We’ll he called his friend and left. Not too long from that I get a call from the police, that I’d made a phone call from my phone to the number that guy called. First they were accusing me of trying to buy drugs, but I managed to clear it out, probably talked for 15mins, man I was freaked for a while. Never lending my phone to anyone!

If you don’t like to read about vomiting etc. then don’t read the following chapter!

After that I took the tram to get to the gym, two rows behind me there was a drunk sitting, who was just yelling and cursing everyone. All of a sudden he throws up on the floor, I reacted immediately and jumped on my seat. Nothing touched my shoes, I would have had to burn them!

Soon winter will come and clear the addicts from the streets.

Good call on the -concrete- hills…

Remember, easy on tempo and get some treatment on your legs whenever you can!

PS can I make a call?? :stuck_out_tongue:

I managed to get sick last week. Today is the second day I’m well.

I’m not going to run those hills again, only going to run hills once a week during the weekend when I’m in our second home, which is located in the countryside, which has great grass hills, which won’t kill my legs.

I’ll continue from the second week of training due to my flue.

Doing sprints with spikes tomorrow.

Last day of work, wohoo. Now it’s just school and training

Warm-up

Track

6x10m standing start

6x10m from pushup position (no more of these, shoulder issues)

6x20m

1x50m (I accelerated to 20m and maintained the last 30m)

4x60 (20easy, 20fast, 20easy)

Core
150 abs
100 obliques
3x10 Pull ups

Didn’t do weights, because I don’t wanna stress my body too much since I was just sick.

Tempo and lower weights tomorrow.

Edit: Forgot some stuff

My diet will change dramatically from tomorrow on, since I don’t have to be working. I won’t start eating perfectly immediately instead I’ll make small changes for better, but now I have a chance to experiment what works best for me.

Printed all the articles of regenerationlab  Got some reading to do tonight.

Recovery
(2)Contrast showers
Sauna

Glad to see this!

How did you do this, I thought the site had closed down?

I copy&pasted all the articles to word when Clemson talked about closing the site. I got all of them saved on my computer  It took a long time, trust me.

The pool might be a good alternative for tempo since you are using the hard hills.

Thursday and Friday

Tempo
3x(100m+200+100)

Felt good.

I’m so happy at the moment for my older brother, who became a father on 31.8.2005 to a healthy little baby girl 53cm, 3850g. I’m an uncle -again-

Tomorrow I’ll head to the countryside to get away from this busy/stressful citylife. Time to relax and good hills to do my running on.

Any updates, Keke?
Is all ok?
Let us know!
