General Fitness Sprinting

Here are two videos of me doing some flying sprints as a part of my general fitness training.

I had to edit them to get rid of the parts where the screen was empty. It was actually 5 videos (running up then down, up, down, up,) but I merged them together into two separate ones to save time.

*Im running at about 60-70%
*Critiques will be much appreciated

First Set

Second Set

Daniel, the first video clip wouldn’t play for me. The second video was moving too quick for me to be able to really get a good look. It looked like the video was in “fast-forward” mode. Is there any way to slow down the clip?

“Just a couple hard-drivin’ rough necks…Down Hazzard County way…They don’t want no trouble…They just want to play”

Okay Its working now, I changed the file server.

Same here, they are both downloadable files now so you could just use your media player to slow down the clip, Im just too fast for video capture man, lol.

Yeah, maybe it WAS you moving too fast that made the clip look like a fast forward  .

I liked the way you stayed fairly tall with your posture; it didn’t look like you were leaning backward, which is what many folks do. One question I have is whether or not you take relatively small strides for someone of your height? In the second video it looked like your strides were short, but it could just be that you were finishing your run, coming to a stop; I couldn’t tell.

Yea, I take relatively small strides for a 6’ 1’’ guy.

In the second video, in my first run my stride is shorter than usual because I was coming to the end of the runway so I was finishin up my run and the final run I was coming to a dead stop because I was about to collide with one of my pet cats if i continued, lol.

Thanxs, I used to do that when I was younger, but I corrected it a few years ago. The only time I do that now Is when Im trying to come to a stop but at a reasonable angle.

Any more opinions/critiques?

Anybody…:frowning:

There is not really much that I can think to critique. Your start is pretty good and you have good form. I would love for you to post a video of yourself at 100%

Alright then, Ill be training diligently until, the heats for our annual school sports are gonna begin in January. So ill be sure to have my training partner record them on his digital cam, it has tons of memory.

Yo daniel , it´s a little difficult to see because of the shortness and quickness of the media file , but when I pause the movie , it looks quite fine.I like the way you do it but I guess if you could add a longer movie with a slow time to see it better :o .

anyway you´re looking ok in the movie , see you later man  !

(by other side I guess if now you could post it a video from you performing A and B drills :o thanks in andvance and be with GOD!!!)
